Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Share folder with user with ONLY "can create" permission
  2. Using iOS client 2.24.3, upload file to folder......no problem...it works
  3. Try to delete the file you just uploaded using the iOS client, iOS client crashes
  4. Reopen iOS client, ......presented with login prompt loop and then brute force detection message from server etc

I tried with 5 iOS devices, same problem. Is anyone else having this issue?????? None of these problems were there before NC 17 and iOS client 2.23 version.

It's making nextcloud really unusable and useless.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with the iOS client 2.24.3: share a folder with only “can create” permission, upload a file, then delete it. Observe the crash, subsequent login prompt loop, and server brute-force detection; done means identifying and fixing the failure across the reported flow and verifying it on the affected client behavior.
