Description

Expected behaviour

When i try to upload a file out of any ios app, e.g. Keepass Touch, it should be possible to select E2E enrypted folders as any other folder.

Actual behaviour

E2E encrypted folders are not displayed, so can't be chosen for upload.

Steps to reproduce
  • Create an E2E encrypted folder in Nextcloud
  • Make sure this folder can be used in Nextcloud IOS and files can be uploaded
  • Start Keepass Touch on ios
  • open your keepass database
  • upload the database to nextcloud out of the app

Research direction

Start by reproducing the upload flow from Keepass Touch on iOS using an E2E-encrypted Nextcloud folder, following the listed steps. Inspect the iOS file-selection path and verify whether encrypted folders are excluded; done means they appear and can be selected for uploads from another app.
