Unable to upload non pic/video into Nextcloud on IOS

Expected behaviour

From an app like Minikeepass (and others like pdf reader) I was able to use “Open In” and select NextCliud to upload. Since a few updates ago it thinks everything is video or picture

Actual behaviour

Clicking open in NextCloud, after selecting the folder, it errors out saying it could not find photo or video. The “Copy To Nextcloud” does work, but is not the right function as it creates a copy which I have to do separate steps to remove the old file and rename the new file to the right file name.

Steps to reproduce

Open an application and try to open the file to Nextcloud.

12, but was happening since early IOS 11

App version

2.22.40 (has been happening since May/June 2018 with earlier versions)

Server configuration

CentOS 7 (no change from when it was working)

Operating system: CentOS 7

Web server: Apache 2.4 (no change)

Database: MySQL (MariaDB)

PHP version: 5.6 thru 7.2

13 but happening on an unchanged v12.x (last version)

Start by reproducing the Open In flow on iOS with a non-photo, non-video file, then compare it with Copy To Nextcloud. Trace the upload path used after selecting a destination folder and verify that arbitrary files upload without the photo-or-video error while preserving their original name.
