Description
The android app supports so called provisioning link. They look like this:
nc://login/user:test&password:secret&server:docs.myserver.de
When a user clicks on this link the nextcloud app start and server, user and password are pre-filled.
All the parameters are optional so a link may only contain the server's address.
The current android app has issue taking over user and password (see https://github.com/nextcloud/android/issues/2308) but the server's address is taken over (which already helps the users a lot).
Would be nice if the ios app would provide the same feature.

Research direction
Start by reviewing how the iOS app handles links and compare its behavior with the Android provisioning-link support described in the issue. Support nc:// links with optional server, user, and password parameters, and consider the work complete when clicking a link opens the app with the available values pre-filled.
