New Bug Report: Manual Uploads & Auto-Upload Hanging / Unusable in Nextcloud iOS 7.1.3

Describe the bug

Since updating to v7.1.3, manual uploads often get stuck in the queue (“In Upload” / “Waiting”) and automatic uploads either don’t start or make the app almost unusable while uploading. The UI becomes sluggish, and sometimes there is no visible progress.

Steps to reproduce

Open Nextcloud app

Try uploading one or more files manually

Observe that the transfer stalls, remains in “waiting” or “in upload” for a long time, almost without network activity

Enable automatic upload of photos/videos and leave app idle/locked / on WiFi (or VPN, if you use that)

Observe whether uploads begin or continue (often: they don’t, or take extremely long)

Expected behavior

Uploads (manual and automatic) should proceed reliably, with progress indicators. The app should remain responsive (able to abort uploads, move around menus) while these transfers happen.

Actual behavior

Uploads stuck in queue or never start

UI becomes unresponsive / sluggish

Automatic upload may show toggled on but does nothing

No way to cancel or recover without restarting the app
