Steps to reproduce
- Enable auto-upload of camera roll
- Record some large videos (hour or more)
- Open the app, see auto upload start
- See that while "Please wait, preparing file upload..." and "Keep the application active until the sending is completed..." and "Please wait ..." are displayed, nothing else can be done in the app.
- Depending on how large the uploads are (and maybe also how fast your internet connection is), this can take from several minutes to potentially hours of the app being unresponsive and unusable.
Expected behaviour
The auto-upload process should not block the ability to do other things for long periods. Or at the very least, there should be a way to pause/postpone auto-uploads if other tasks need to be done.
Actual behaviour
Nothing else is able to be done while "Please wait, preparing file upload..." and "Keep the application active until the sending is completed..." are displayed
Logs
Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?
Long periods of unusability are terrible UX and extremely frustrating. Can't even abort the auto upload to recover usability if other tasks are more important.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with auto-upload enabled and large videos, then trace the app's upload flow to identify what keeps the UI unavailable. Done means users can continue using the app while auto-upload runs, or can pause or postpone the upload to restore usability.
