Steps to reproduce
- Setup Nextcloud + iOS App
- Create a hidden folder with photos/videos („.“Name Folder) and disable „Show hidden files“
- Go into media tab
Expected behaviour
I expected that files within a hidden folder would not show up inside of the media tab until the „show hidden files“ option has been enabled.
Actual behaviour
When I created a folder (for example „.Test“) and added photos/videos inside of it and disabled the „Show hidden files“ option I looked into the media tab and these photos/videos from the hidden folder still showed up in my media tab within the iOS App.
Logs
No logs.
Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?
Why would I want hidden photos/videos to show up in the media tab? I would rather prefer to enable/disable the „Show hidden files“ option to either see or not see these photos/videos in the media tab. It adds more privacy.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue in the iOS app by creating a hidden folder with photos or videos, disabling “Show hidden files,” and opening the media tab. Trace how the media tab filters hidden-folder contents relative to that setting; done means those items stay hidden until the option is enabled.
