Description

Images uploaded to my Nextcloud server (via iOS auto-upload or web) appear blank (white screen) in the iOS app.

However:
The same images open fine in Safari and on my desktop
Making the images "Available Offline" in the iOS app fixes the issue and allows viewing

Steps to reproduce:
Upload a .jpeg or .png photo to your Nextcloud instance
Open the photo in the Nextcloud iOS app
Observe: blank white screen
Tap "Make Available Offline" and re-open the image — now it displays correctly

Expected behavior:
Image should open normally in the app without needing offline mode

Environment:
iOS app version: 6.6.4.5 @2025
iOS version: iOS 18.5
Device: iPhone 16 pro
Nextcloud server version: 31.0.5

Additional info:
Previews generated on server
File formats: .jpeg and .png
Cache cleared in app, issue persists

Research direction

Reproduce in the Nextcloud iOS app using JPEG and PNG files uploaded to a Nextcloud server, first opening them online and then after selecting “Make Available Offline.” Investigate the difference between online and offline viewing; done means server-generated previews display normally without requiring offline mode.
