Steps to reproduce
  1. Set default Downloads folder on Safari’s settings as Nextcloud
  2. Try to download anything on Safari
  3. The download gets stuck at 100% with Nextcloud saving only the .download extension
Expected behaviour

It should download the actual file.

Actual behaviour

It gets stuck at 100% and saves the .download file on the Nextcloud Downloads folder.

While I am showing OpenWRT’s .bin file as an example, everything that I tried to download including with .jpg extensions and such are having the same issue.

Logs
If applicable, you can post the iOS app or server logs (removing any sensitive information).
Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?

Nextcloud has implemented “full” Files app integration but this feature seems to be not working. It would be very useful to be able to save our downloads on our own Nextcloud server.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the download flow with Safari on iOS or iPadOS using Nextcloud as the default Downloads folder, then inspect the iOS app's Files app integration. No source file or test is identified in the issue, and the supplied logs are empty. Done means downloaded files, including .bin and .jpg examples, are saved with their actual contents rather than remaining as .download files.
