Description
Device: iPhone 13 mini
iOS Version: 18.4.1
Nextcloud App Version: Latest version from the App Store
Server Version: (if known)
Issue:
The Nextcloud app does not launch properly from the iOS share sheet. When attempting to upload email attachments via the “Share” or “Save to Files” options and selecting Nextcloud, the app is selected but no folder selection appears, and the app seems to crash or fail to respond.
Troubleshooting steps already taken:
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the app (latest version)
• Restarted the iPhone
• Removed and re-added Nextcloud from the iOS share options
• Checked and confirmed app permissions (file access, network access, etc.)
• Logged out and back into the app
Expected behavior:
Upon selecting Nextcloud from the share menu, the app should open a folder selection view and allow uploading of the file.
Additional information:
• The issue occurs with all file types (PDFs, images, etc.)
• The iPhone has been freshly set up and is not jailbroken
• Other apps in the share menu (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive) are working as expected

Research direction
No files or tests are named. Start by reproducing the failure from the iOS share sheet with an attachment on an iPhone 13 mini running iOS 18.4.1, then inspect the app's share-sheet handling and available logs. Done means selecting Nextcloud opens folder selection and permits uploading across the reported file types.
