Connection Error: The requested resource could not be found after install

Steps to reproduce

1. Download from App Store
2. Launch app
3. Try to connect to url

Expected behaviour

App should bring user to login page

Actual behaviour

Notes

The server works from the same iPhone on Safari for the same URL, and works from the Android apps as well.

Logs

nginx doesn't have an entry on access or the error logs, after trying.

Environment data

iOS version: iOS 18.1.1

Nextcloud iOS app version: 6.1.8

Server operating system: Debian 12

Web server: nginx

Database: mysql

PHP version: PHP 8.2.7 (fpm-fcgi)

Nextcloud version: 27.1.11

The issue does not identify a source file, test, failing log entry, or specific URL. Start by reproducing the connection from the iOS app against the reported environment, then compare its behavior with Safari and the Android app. Done means the app reaches the login page and the failure is covered by a reproducible test or actionable diagnostic information.
