Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?

There's no reason to group by type unless user explicitly wants it. On iPhone, items are NOT grouped by type - the issue is present only on iPad.

Environment data

iOS version:

iPadOS 17.4

Nextcloud iOS app version: see More > Settings
5.2.0.9

Research direction

Reproduce the issue on iPadOS 17.4 in the Nextcloud iOS app by switching to Grid view and sorting by name. Compare the iPad behavior with the iPhone behavior described in the issue; done means items are not grouped by type when sorted by name unless grouping is explicitly requested.
