Research direction

Reproduce the sign-in flow with a 2FA-enabled account on iOS 14.4.1 and Nextcloud iOS 4.4.2, then trace the app's authentication and web-kit handoff. Confirm the fix by ensuring an update does not log the user out, 2FA sign-in completes without an error, and the web-kit browser is not opened unexpectedly.
