Research direction

Start by reproducing the rotation flow in the Files area on an iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 15.4, after using the app and editing images for some time. Trace the orientation behavior and identify why a black area appears; done means portrait-to-landscape rotation remains smooth in both directions.
