iOS Universal Clipboard in text editor

Expected behaviour

When I have something in my iPhones clipboard that I want to paste into a document on the iPad I tap the screen and click paste. Then the system transfers the item in the clipboard over once.

Actual behaviour

If there’s something in the iPhone clipboard, tapping on the iPad screen to paste that item causes the app to transfer the item over and over, thereby lagging the app and making it unusable until at one point it stops and the horizontal menu pops that allows you to copy or paste.

Steps to reproduce

1. Make sure that the iPad and iPhone have Universal Clipboard enabled.
2. Open a markdown document in the NextCloud iPad Os App.
3. Copy some text from Safari on the iPhone
4. Tap on the iPad screen on the markdown document to open the horizontal menu.

Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?

No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the issue with the listed iPhone, iPad, iOS 14.2, and app version, then trace the text editor's paste handling when the horizontal menu opens. Done means a Universal Clipboard item transfers once and the editor remains responsive.
