Research direction

Start by reproducing the crash on iOS 12.4.8 with the listed scan-and-save sequence, then investigate the app's Save flow and any available crash details. Done means selecting Save after adding scanned images opens the "Save settings" screen instead of crashing, both with and without a network connection.
