Research direction
No source files or tests are named. Start by reproducing the impersonation flow on the reported Nextcloud 31.0.5 stack, then trace the cookie and redirect handling around the 422 and duplicated index.php path. Done means impersonation returns without an error and redirects to the correct URL.
