Description

Description of the change

We should have a test that enables metrics in ci.

Benefits

This would make it so that when users change functionality about the metrics deployment, we can make sure it still works.

Possible drawbacks

another test to maintain :P

Additional information

Research direction

No files or existing tests are named. Start by locating the Helm chart's CI configuration and deployment tests, then trace how metrics are enabled. Define a CI test that exercises the metrics deployment and verifies it works; done means the test runs in CI and catches a broken metrics configuration.
