Guests do not have access to the calendar

Description
It is possible to invite guests to events, creating the impression that they will be able to see the event and receive a notification mail for it too.
Apparently this is not the case though. Is this a specific decision? It seems strange cause e.g. guests do seem to have access to the Deck app for example.
