Description

On many apps, we can limit the use of the app to some(s) group(s).
If we could do this for guests, it would be possible to give some members (in an ad-hoc group) the possibility to invite users, not absolutely anyone, and not only admins who has something else to do .

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by tracing how guest invitations are authorized and how groups are represented, then clarify the intended permission model with maintainers. Done should mean that invitation rights can be granted to a selected group without granting them to all users or requiring administrator access.
