Pasting multiple lines of text into new topic doesn't work as expected

Wondering if something has changed in regards to pasting text into the topic of a node?
Previously (not sure on which version) I'm pretty sure I could just paste in multiple lines of text for the topic of a node.
Now when I do the same thing, for each line it creates a child node with the text from that line.
If I manually type in the text in the topic, and use SHIFT-ENTER at the end of each line the multiple line topic is created OK. I just can't do this using copy/paste any more.
There is also no setting that I can find to change this behaviour in any way.

For most Mind Maps I need to be able to have text in the node itself rather than using notes. You can't view two notes at the same time for example, whereas I can see the text topic of two nodes at the same time.

Reproduce the issue in the mind map editor using the reported Mind Map 0.0.24 and Nextcloud 20.0.4 versions, then trace the paste handling entry point. Confirm that pasted multiline text stays within one node topic, while manually entered lines with SHIFT-ENTER retain their existing behavior.
