Description
The document https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/admin_manual/configuration_files/primary_storage.html says "This data directory might still be used for compatibility reasons", but I would like you to clarify for what reason it is used.
We are planning to use S3 as the primary storage and build multiple Nextcloud servers for redundancy, and we are considering whether it is necessary to share the data directory with an NFS server.
