Description

Hi there,

I already really like the app, can be used for light/medium planning/tracking. Keep up the great work!

I would like to use it to track how long a task takes. For this, I need to see the start date and end date. I think the app could be enhanced with adding the task start date to be today and end date when marked as done. I think the latter may already be done, but not 100% sure. It may also make sense to hide this option behind an option toggle so the automatic start date is only added if somebody needs it.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by tracing how cards are created, how completion is recorded, and where start or end dates are currently handled. Define the automatic-start setting and verify that a card gets today's start date when appropriate and an end date when marked done.
