Description

Hi,

When I'm reviewing the cards assigned to me, the "Upcoming cards" view is very handy, until I decide to click on a card to display its contents and possibly change something (assignments, tags, description, due date). Indeed, when I click on the card (and especially when I close it), I find myself in its board … and I feel lost, in terms of the user path, which is damaging UX. Given that to access the card, I had gone through the "Upcoming cards" section, after opening and then closing the card (whether or not any changes have been made to the card), I have to stay in "Upcoming cards", to continue reviewing my upcoming cards.

Another side, when I do a similar test in the mobile application (Android app, in my case), I stay in "Upcoming cards", after opening / closing a card, which is great!

Research direction

The issue concerns the web UI's Upcoming cards view and the navigation used when opening and closing a card; no files or tests are named. Start by locating the Upcoming cards route or component and its card-detail close handling, then compare the Android behavior described. Done means opening and closing a card from Upcoming cards returns to that view.
