There are times when a simple task that could be a command needs more to be accomplished.
For example, Home Assistant Assist can be used while you are not at your PC but still allows you to do tasks.
Imagine if that power was in Nextcloud, to say in a room that you want an email sent or a talk message and without going on your PC or phone you are able to do those things.

I would like the MCP server to be able to connect to Home Assistant using this MCP Integration in Home Assistant.

I don't see any other way to get that connection, if there is I would really be interested in it.

I am not sure if you can do this already, but I tried many times and ways, and it did not work.

Start by reviewing the MCP server and the Home Assistant MCP Integration documentation linked in the issue; no repository files, tests, or entry points are named. Done would mean establishing a working connection that lets Home Assistant invoke the requested Nextcloud email or Talk actions.
