Description

As already said in my other ticket, I think this bot has the potential to become a real killer feature.

The summary bot is a great tool to collect topics for the next meeting, discuss them and create some notes/tasks during a meeting. But after using it for a few months, what I miss compared to a normal "meeting minutes document" is a easy overview to look back what was discussed in the past, did we finished all tasks, etc. For this long-term overview a generic meeting minutes document worked better in the past while the bot is a great tool for ad-hoc work.

Some ideas I had:

  1. There could be a tab in the right sidebar which shows the history of all meetings (agenda + call summary), ideally with a possibility to search.
  2. Allow the user to define a meeting minute "archive file" and the bot writes it's content not only to the chat but also to the file. Nice benefit of a file: it could be copied, downloaded, shared, exported to other formats and users could also enriched it with additional information after a meeting.

Research direction

Start by mapping the existing right-sidebar entry points and the bot's chat and file-output flow. Compare the two proposed directions: searchable meeting history with agenda and call summaries, or a user-defined archive file. Done should include an agreed scope and clear behavior for viewing, searching, or persisting past meeting information.
