The tasks app could manage repeating tasks recently https://github.com/nextcloud/tasks/releases/tag/v0.18.0
But these tasks are not shown in the calendar, only the not repeating.
Would be nice to see the rep tasks, too.

Research direction
Start with the Tasks v0.18.0 release and trace how the calendar currently receives and displays non-repeating tasks. Compare that path with repeating tasks in the Tasks app, then verify the result with a recurring task. Done means repeating tasks appear in the calendar as expected, without changing existing non-repeating task behavior.
