I just had an idea I want to share with you to find out if this could be a useful feature.
Think about a organization which shares a public calendar with all their public events. E.g. a event schedule of a political party. Wouldn't it be nice if people who look at the calendar and decide to visit one of the events can add themselves as attendees (maybe just by entering a name, or a name and a email address). This way your public calendar could replace some third party tools like meetup.com (at least in a really minimalist way) and you would have all the information in your personal cloud.
Is this something we could think about, or is it a completely stupid idea? 😉
