Attendees autocomplete still does not show internal users or groups in Calendar 6.4.1

Describe the bug

The attendees autocomplete in the Calendar event editor still does not show internal Nextcloud users or groups in Calendar 6.4.1.

This may be related to the already closed issue:

https://github.com/nextcloud/calendar/issues/8230

I am opening a new issue because the original issue was reported for Calendar 6.2.3 and is now closed, but the problem is still reproducible in Calendar 6.4.1.

The issue has been reproducible since Calendar 6.2.3 and is still present after several Calendar app updates.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Calendar app.
2. Create a new event.
3. Open the event editor.
4. Go to the Attendees field.
5. Start typing the name of an existing internal Nextcloud user.
6. Start typing the name of an existing Nextcloud group.

Expected behavior

The attendees autocomplete should suggest:

• internal Nextcloud users
• Nextcloud groups

This used to work before on the same instance.

Actual behavior

The attendees autocomplete does not suggest internal users or groups.

The field remains empty / does not return the expected users or groups when typing.

Users and groups exist normally on the instance and are available in other parts of Nextcloud, but Calendar does not show them when adding attendees to an event.

Environment

• Nextcloud deployment: Nextcloud AIO
• Nextcloud server version: 33.0.3
• Calendar app version: 6.4.1
• The issue originally appeared around Calendar 6.2.3
• The problem is still reproducible in Calendar 6.4.1

In that forum thread, the issue was originally observed with Calendar 6.2.3.

Now, with Calendar 6.4.1, the attendees autocomplete issue is still present.

Because the original GitHub issue #8230 is already closed, I am reporting the current state separately for Calendar 6.4.1.
