Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with a contact birthday in a shared address book where the recipient has read-only access, using the reported Nextcloud Calendar 4.5.3 setup if available. Trace the birthday-to-calendar synchronization path and verify that the birthday appears for the read-only recipient without granting edit permissions.
