Description

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Sometimes it can be overwhelming looking at the calendar in the "Month" view. All the previous days are useless to me most of the time. Yes, sometimes I want to check them out, but most of the time, I prefer them to fade out in some way so I can find the current day and tasks easily.

Describe the solution you'd like

In the monthly view. I'd love to have an option that automatically scrolls down to the current week of the month and puts it on top and/or hides all the previous tasks from all the included calendars. This way, it'll be easy for the eyes to see the remaining tasks until the end of this month.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Another great solution would be to add a quick checkbox that can hide all the tasks from the previous days or grey them out so your eyes can easily focus on the current day and not wander around in one big ocean of tasks.

Research direction

Start by inspecting the calendar's Month view and how it renders previous days, the current week, and tasks from included calendars. Clarify whether the expected behavior is automatic scrolling, hiding, fading, greying out, or a user-controlled checkbox. Done should be defined as a tested, agreed-upon way to focus on the current month without losing access to earlier tasks.
