If you use several calendars (for teams, external events, personal,...) and you add a new appointment, you normaly have a clear preference/standard calendar where this appointment should go.
You can change the calendar in the appointment dialog, but if you miss to do so, you might miss the date.

User should be able to define a calendar as a standard for new appointments.
