Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Support archiving bookmarks to subscription sites that require authentication, e.g. research sites that the user legitimately pays for.
Describe the solution you'd like
Archive a local copy of bookmarks that require authentication.
This could also mean it supports some form of integration with other web clippers such as SingleFile or Save Page WE where Bookmarks saves the bookmark and takes the content to index from such a web clipper.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Web clippers similar to SingleFile.
Additional context
It will probably need a web clipper that runs client side, something similar to SingleFile

Research direction
Start by reviewing the issue's proposed client-side web clipper approach and the referenced SingleFile and Save Page WE projects. Determine how authenticated subscription-site content could be captured for local storage and indexing. Done means bookmarks requiring authentication have a workable archival integration, with the scope and integration boundary clearly defined.
