Description

I have just set up Backup to use a remote mount and it works, but after one night I took a look at remote mount and saw that it created several folders with names like

/20230515072058-differential-euYPfdOPlBW5bYB

containing only 2 files, .nobackup and .noindex.

Only the oldest contains actual data: is that normal?

Research direction

No file or test is named. Start by reproducing an overnight Backup run against a remote mount, then inspect the generated differential folders and their contents. Done means determining whether the empty folders containing .nobackup and .noindex are expected, or identifying the behavior that must be corrected.
