Description

Hi,

I'm using NC 23.0.3 & Backup 1.0.6. I've added a FTP location to store backups. On an older version, with some tinkering, it all worked fined. Now it works fine without tinkering, my backups do get transfered via FTP, but the old ones are not purged. I've got 10 backups sitting on FTP, and my keep policy for external backups is 5. I'm using Linux cron. Got no errors in my Logging tab since the upgrade so I don't know where to start debugging from.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with an FTP external backup location, Linux cron, and a keep policy of 5 backups. Trace the external-backup purge behavior and verify that older remote backups are removed while newer backups remain.
