bottom toolbar style UI (similar to iphone client)

NextCloud android client is one of the many apps that has outdated UI which conflicts with android back gestures.

I mean the menu which you slide from left edge. How you cannot slide but you have to first keep finger near the edge for a while and then pull which is unintuitive and difficult.

Also some important UI controls are at the top far beyond reach of thumb when using with one hand.

IMO the right way would be to make the client as similar to iphone NextCloud client which has more controls at bottom toolbar. Also having similar UI in both platforms makes it easier to switch platform.

If there is some reason to keep the old UI (old tablets...?) then it could be a switch in settings 1. modern UI, 2. legacy UI.
