exclude files from viewing in Dashboard

Currently my Dashboard is filled with nonsense information about changes on a directory.
In a shared directory there is a directory that’s not interesting and has a lot of changes.
These changes appear on the Dashboard and that way the Dashboard is not usable.

Please allow to exclude files from dashboard.

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the Dashboard activity rendering and its handling of directory changes, then determine how an exclusion could be configured; done means changes from selected files or directories no longer appear on the Dashboard.
