Description

The ExApp track needs a pinboard-python scaffold repo on GitHub — the equivalent of pinboard-php, giving readers a starting point rather than an empty directory.

A local copy exists at course-development/course/scaffolds/pinboard-python/ (with ex_app/, appinfo/, Makefile, requirements.txt, l10n/) plus a zip, so the content largely exists; what is missing is the published repo.

Scope

  • Create the repo and push the scaffold
  • Decide the owning org/account and whether it needs git tags per module, as the manifest's git_tag_start / git_tag_end fields imply the PHP one has

Also affects

The federation capstone (#14) references download repos such as pinboard-php-federation — check what else the manifest expects to exist.

Done when

The repo exists, the ExApp modules can link to it, and any tags the manifest references resolve.

Research direction

Start by inspecting course-development/course/scaffolds/pinboard-python/ and the manifest fields it must satisfy, then compare the published pinboard-php repository and the federation capstone references. Confirm the owning GitHub account and required module tags with maintainers. Done means the repository is published, ExApp modules link to it, and every referenced tag resolves.
