Description

What is the improvement or update you wish to see?

As per this section, accounts from different oauth providers with the same email are automatically linked, however here it's mentioned that's not the case.

Is there any context that might help us understand?

It would be less confusing if the behavior around account linking is clearly documented, alongwith the reasoning behind the behavior as well as steps to alter the behavior.

Research direction

Compare the account-linking statements in docs/pages/getting-started/authentication.mdx and docs/pages/concepts/index.mdx, then verify which behavior and configuration guidance are intended. Done means the documentation consistently explains automatic linking, its rationale, and how to alter the behavior.
