Description

When searching for String->[String], I can find results such as lines or words. But these results do not appear when I search for [Char]->[[Char]] although it should be synonym.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the two searches described in the issue: String->[String] and [Char]->[[Char]]. Read the search matching and synonym-normalization paths to determine why equivalent types produce different results. Done means both queries return the same relevant results, including lines and words, with regression coverage for the behavior.
