Research direction

Reproduce stack hoogle on Windows 7 64-bit Korean with CP949 and MSYS2 LANG=C.UTF-8, using the listed network and binary-search packages. Start with the attached stderr output and compare both failures; done means the command no longer reports an invalid-character error in this environment.
