"Redundant bracket" warning doesn't contain requirement for space

foo = \(~(x, _)) -> x + 1
Hlint reports this:
Warning: Redundant bracket
Found:
(~(x, _))
Perhaps:
~(x, _)
But when I make that change (either by hand or with --refactor), both ghc and hlint report a parse error. To fix this, hlint should add an extra space before the ~ in the RHS.
