Description

I'm using hlint with Travis CI. And my build fails if I have only suggestions in the HLint output. My impression always was that suggestions (aka hints) are not necessary; they just give you new information on how you can write code. Warnings should be must-fix However, hlint exits with exit code 1 when only suggestions are present, and this makes running HLint on CI less convenient...

It would be nice if this behaviour can be configurable 🙂

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is named in the issue. Start by locating HLint's handling of exit status when output contains only suggestions, then inspect how command-line behavior is configured. Done means a documented configuration allows suggestion-only output to use a non-failing exit status while warnings remain failing.
