Description

Fix that works for me is to just show the string passed to hlint in order to insert quotes:
...hlint \" ++ (show . unwords) ...
Tested on mac (not sure if this is system dependent).

Research direction

Locate the ghci.conf script and the :hlint command it defines. First reproduce the failure with a file path containing a space, then verify that the command passes the path correctly to hlint. Done means :hlint works for spaced paths on the affected systems.
