Description

I have a small project that uses the NASA Photo API, but I noticed that the spirit and opportunity missions are no longer returning images.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Mars Rover Photos requests used by the linked demo for Curiosity, Spirit, and Opportunity, then compare their API responses. Check the NASA Photo API behavior and existing issue discussion to determine whether the documented endpoint or underlying mission data explains the missing images; completion is a documented cause and an agreed next step.
