Description
Your idea
While in regular score editing mode with no modal dialogs, I'd like to be able to adjust the "stave space" option (shown under Page Settings) up or down to get an idea of what works best for my score. Ideally this would be done via shortcut keys.
Problem to be solved
Difficult to judge whether a particular stave space value will work well for a score unless you can navigate (zoom/pan) to various parts of it while adjusting the value.

Research direction
Start by tracing the Page Settings control for stave space and the existing shortcut-key handling in regular score editing mode. Define how the shortcut changes the value up or down, then verify that it works without modal dialogs and produces a visibly updated score.
