Parenthesis: Leading Space

Description with steps to reproduce

1. New score
2. add a quarter note
3. add a parenthesis to that note
4. select the right parentheses
5. Increment Inspector>Appearance>Leading Space

I would expect this to alter the position of the parenthesis relative to the note
Rather it alters the x position of the note, with no impact on the position of the parenthesis relative to the note.

What's the design intent here?

With a parenthesis selected, changing Inspector>Appearance>Leading Space alters the Leading Space of the note. It has no effect on the parenthesis or the entire parentheses.

Reproduce the issue in MuseScore Studio using a quarter note with a parenthesis, then inspect the Inspector > Appearance > Leading Space behavior for the selected parenthesis. Done means changing Leading Space moves the parenthesis relative to the note without changing the note's position; verify the result on macOS or an equivalent build.
