Description
Your idea
I'm from Croatia and I'm a tambura player, I use Musescore to write down music but I find It annoying that the current tambura instruments in musescore (prim, brač, bugarija, berda, čelo) all have a lot of issues. All of them have incorrect pitch ranges, čelo should be written in bass clef, not treble and when you create a score it is under the berda by default when it should be above It (I used the correct order in the text below), there is only 1 version of the brač in musescore but there exists two versions: the A brač and E brač. The standard tunings of tamburas (Vojvodina system) is:
E prim - E5 H4 F#4 C#4, (double E string), 24 frets, pitch range: C#4 - E7, transposition: 1 octave up
A brač - A4 E4 H3 F#3, (double A string), 16 frets, pitch range: F#3 - C#6
E brač - E4 H3 F#3 C#3, (double E string), 14 frets, pitch range: C#3 - F#5
E bugarija - E4 H3 G#3 E3, 14 frets, pitch range: E3 - F#5
A čelo - A3 E3 H2 F#2, 14 frets, pitch range: F#2 - H4
A berda - A2 E2 H1 F#1, 12 frets, pitch range: F#1 - A3, transposition: 1 octave down
