Your idea
The measure repeats for 2, 4, ... measures are engraved with a number.
It should be possible to hide that number.
Problem to be solved
The sign is self-speaking and in most case the extra number is not equired. Its position can be configured but it cannot be hidden.
Prior art
In early 4.x versions, the measure repeats came without number which was completely fine.
