Description
Issue type
UX/Interaction bug (incorrect behaviour)
Description with steps to reproduce
I am entering choral sheet music into two-staff systems by hitting 'n' and the keys 3-7 for duration and letter keys. Treble clef on top, bass clef on the bottom, with 2 voices per staff. Especially in the bass clef, the next note often jumps up by 2 octaves. I can fix this with Ctrl+Arrow, but it takes time and is very annoying.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue in MuseScore Studio 4.7.1 on Windows using a two-staff choral score with two voices per staff, entering notes with n and keys 3–7 plus letter keys. Focus first on bass-clef note entry and compare the entered pitch with the expected octave; Ctrl+Arrow currently corrects the result. Done means successive notes no longer jump up by two octaves and the reproduction steps no longer require manual correction.
